A Dues Deduct Member pays $3.50 per month for dues. Dues are deducted from the member's Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) pension check. Dues deduct members pay the cheapest annual dues of any category. A signed authorization form is needed to begin dues for this category. Cancel Anytime. A New Retiree Member is free for the entire calendar year for which the member is retiring when they sign up for dues deduct membership. A dues deduction of $3.50 per month from your TRS pension will begin in January of the subsequent year. Cancel Anytime. A Pipeline Member is an active member who has announced their retirement within the next four years. The pipeline member is free for up to four years. Annual Recurring
An Annual Recurring Member is a TRS annuitant who pays their members dues via a credit card. This membership type repeats annually opting-in to auto-pay via credit card. The cost is $46 a year. Cancel Anytime.
Associate Annual Recurring
Associate members are spouses of Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) annuitants and any other friends of retired educators. Family and friends, who are supportive and advocate for retired educators, may join the Association as associate members. Dues are $35 per year. Dues are paid annually via credit card. Requires members to opt in to auto-pay via credit card.
Life Member
A Life Member is a member category for any annuitant of the Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS). A one-time dues payment of $600 is paid via credit card. With this category, your dues are guaranteed and paid for life.
Associate Life Member
Associate members are spouses of Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) annuitants and any other friends of retired educators. Family and friends, who are supportive and advocate for retired educators, may join the Association as associate members. A one-time dues payment of $200 is paid via credit card.
